I’m Marisa Marley (aka Girlsnguts), a Margate illustrator creating bold and bouncy characters with plenty of personality. My work is inspired by the seaside, women empowerment and tongue-in-cheek humour. Overall, I love creating prints and getting involved in local projects across Kent.
What illustration services do you offer?
I create all types of custom illustrations. For example, merchandise, editorials, branding, packaging, social media and other personal commissions.
What information do you need to start?
In the contact form please include:
- A description of your project.
- Your ideas or inspiration for the project.
- Intended use (personal or commercial).
- Size or format requirements.
- The deadline.
How long does a project take?
I am a part-time illustrator alongside my full-time role as a marketing assistant. Therefore, projects may take between 1 to 4 weeks. This depends on revision rounds and the scale of the project.
If you require a quicker turnaround, please still feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to discuss your deadline and let you know what may be possible based on my availability.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. As part of the process, I provide initial sketches after receiving the project brief. This allows you to review my ideas and share your feedback.
Once the sketch is approved, I develop the linework and add colour to complete the illustration. I include up to two rounds of revisions, allowing you to request any changes or adjustments.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is made via bank transfer. At the end of the project, I will send an invoice. Once that has been paid, I will send over the work. A deposit may be required before work begins.
